Rental of Inshriach is on a self catering basis but there are a number of other options available. For a special occasion our chef, Allan Heaney (www.onepotborrowed.com) will arrange a menu with you using local and seasonal ingredients which he can either drop off for you or come round, cook, serve and wash it all up. You can arrange a chef in house for your whole holiday or order a selection of local produce tailored to suit your budget and the size of your party.

If you are eating out we highly recommend the Old Bridge Inn, a fine pub with good food and regular musical evenings.

The Old School Shop at Rothiemurchus sells meat from the estate, the best selection of whisky and wine in the area and good local cheeses.

Frasers in Aviemore or Gows in Kingussie both provide excellent meat.

Right next door to us is the well-known Inshriach Alpine Nursery Garden. As well the plants, they have an excellent cake and coffee shop open every day except Wednesday. Whole cakes to take away can be ordered in advance.

Last but not least, there is a Tesco in Aviemore, open every day.
